Through her work, she has been instrumental in cultivating enduring data practices through comprehensive training and education, consequently leading to substantial enhancements in government operations and the delivery of public services.

My extensive collaborations with partner organizations and institutions have played a pivotal role in propelling initiatives such as the African Mayoral Leadership Initiative (AMALI) Data Programme, Bloomberg Philanthropies City Data Alliance, and Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative - Data Track to greater heights of success.

RECOGNITION
The National Forum for Black Public Administrators (NFBPA) is a professional organization that represents the interests of Black public administrators in the United States. The organization was founded in 1977 with the goal of promoting the professional development of Black public administrators and advancing their representation in leadership positions within the public sector.
The NFBPA serves as a resource for Black public administrators, providing them with access to training, networking opportunities, and information about career advancement and leadership development. The organization also advocates for policies and practices that support diversity and inclusion in the public sector and works to promote the representation of Black public administrators at all levels of government.
In an effort to further the goal of “grooming and preparing younger, aspiring, public administrators for senior-level management positions,” NFBPA offers the Steven D. Ford Memorial Award. Only one award is given each year which is presented during the ELI/Mentor Program graduation at FORUM.
